Alan is an award-winning serial biotech entrepreneur and is currently CEO of California Cultured, an early stage company developing cell cultured chocolate and cocoa ingredients. He has had 15 years of experience working in both academia and industry on cultured meat, medical devices & protein engineering. Alan previously founded and built Joywell foods. He graduated from NYU School of Engineering. He is an Alum of NYU Launchpad, Elab NYC and IndieBio.
